The Collegiate Neuroscience Society (CNS) is a chartered club for all students at Georgia State University who share an interest in neuroscience. A student do not need to be be a neuroscience major or graduate to be apart of us. If one wants to be a part of fellow students interested in neuroscience, they are most welcome.

Is the public voice of the organization. Authorized to enter into contracts on behalf of the organization. Lead all meetings of the organization. Ensure compliance with all policies and procedures.
Read MoreRepresents GSU at collaborative neuroscience club meetings. Plan and coordinate volunteer events such as educational outreach events. Plan outside events such as field trips.
Read MoreDesign and distribute flyers to promote meetings. Communicate to members through email, Facebook and OrgSync. Make class announcements about upcoming meetings. Approve people who want to join FB group.
Read MoreMaintain financial record for CNS throughout the year. Take roll at each meeting. Be responsible for collecting membership dues. Order and distribute t-shirts. Help president apply for funding for the next academic.
Read MoreThe Executive Board can set procedures for the organization that do not infringe upon the rights of the members. The Executive Board shall meet prior to every meeting of the organization to set the agenda and discuss any issues. At Executive Board meetings, a quorum of 3/5 is necessary to conduct business.
Read MoreCan run for any position. Election of officers shall take place in April each year. Once all candidates speak for a position, the full membership will vote via secret ballot. The candidate receiving the most votes from the members will be elected.
